Damn it, Iowa sure took a dump in the 1st half. had a strong second half though. I figured they were due for a loss cause i think Michigan is a rather solid club.

Now its time to see how Iowa responds. They've been playing some cupcakes for a while and now is where they are going to have to step it up. But they can't afford losses like tonight at home.

Well, they have a ton of injury problems....and Iowa was favored by double digits.

I'm from Iowa but I love Michigan, great win Wolverines.

Iowa looked like crap last night. A lot of people here don't like Alford. Most Iowa fans don't.

Look at last years collapse at ISU and games like last night's versus Michigan and it's (lack of) coaching performances that stick out.

I can second that. I've heard rumors that Alford doesn't get to the tournament this year, he could very well be canned. The Hawks always seem to choke once Big Ten play comes about.

Really good game going on between Memphis and Texas. 1:50 left, Texas is up by 2. Its on espn 2 if anyones interested.

Slow night for hoops as Fridays always are, but gotta sneak in that Evansville pounded Northern Iowa tonight, 93-72.

Tomorrow:

You heard it hear first....

Illini 98

Boilers 64

the IU/Purdue games are going to be interesting :bang

I don't think Illinois will beat Purdue by more than 30. I doubt that they will even win by 20. If it gets that bad Purdue will cut the deficit in garbage minutes.

NC is just destroying MD. They are up by 25 points with 12 minutes left in the game.

ohio st whooping on iowa 74- 59 with 3 min left...

final: ohio st 81 iowa 69

NC has over 100 points with 5 mintues left to play in the game. They now are beating MD by 42 points with just under 3 mintues to play.

That's insane. Maryland was up by 5 in a good first half, and then NC went on like 278723-3 run.

It was 29-24 Maryland with 8 minutes to go 1st half. Then Carolina goes on a 23-5 run to end the half up 13. The biggest lead was 42, 107-65, with 3 minutes to go. From Maryland's 5 point lead to UNC's 42 point lead the Tar Heels went on a 83-36 run in 25 minutes. :bang

Freaking Alford and the Hawks. Doing there usuaul dump during big ten season. He's gonna be gone at the end of the year cause this team has the talent.

Damn UNC :puke

It was just payback for Jawad Williams freshmen year. Jawad is from MD and MD just destroyed a horrible UNC team, Gary Williams never let up. This was a long time coming.

Wow, Northern Iowa was supposed to be better this year. They ruined SIU's prefect MVC record last year.

Illinois is looking sluggish against purdue. Down 21-14 in the first half.

I'm sure it'll turn around soon. This is the best Illinois team I've ever seen and the worst Purdue team in 30+ years.
