Statistics do back him up though. There have only been 2 teams that won 0 games in the last 50 years. I know there have been at least 4 of those since the late 60's.

I think its a lot harder to go winless in a season then to go undefeated.. especially in basketball

Salukis on ESPN tonight vs. Kent State!!!!

This is bad illini are only up by 2 with 7 mins left. 53-51

Omg. Nick Smith just hit a 3 to put Iowa away. 74-65 22secs.

W

I  my Illini--a double digit win at Iowa.

Hey Krush, you guys sounded great. The announcers were saying they never so much opposing color in an arena.

Bring on those scary, purple Wildcats!

Nick Smith just committed a crime, he has no business hitting that shot.

27-0

Very solid win... go ILL!!

:looks at own sig

Kansas is having a lot of trouble with Iowa State.

43-39, Iowa State leading, 7 minutes left in the second half.

Stinson is a damn good player.

Iowa State is pissing this game down their leg by way of not making free throws...

Overtime...wow, just like the Texas Tech game...

Holy crap Kansas is overated, but ISU cant hit a damn FT. OT.

For Heads' sake I hope ISU wins or he will probably kill himself from the inability of his Cyclones to close out the deal. First football blows the Big 12 North in their last game pathetically, now this is ugly lol.

Lankford misses both free throws.

This is a pathetic job at the free throw line by both teams...

Nice...

Iowa State does it, 63-61...What a horrible week for Kansas in the #2 spot.

BWAHAAHAHHAHAHAH!

LMAO @ KU

Heads, don't drink yourself to death over this victory. I'm sure you'll be in shock for the next week.

Hell of a win for the Cyclones.

Now one has to wonder if Kansas is even safe as a #2 in the tourney. The committee HATES teams that finish poorly, and Kansas is doing just that. They will probably have to win out (including Big 12 Tourney) to get a #1 seed. That's not out of the question, but I don't see it happening. If they don't have any more bad losses the rest of the way they should get a 2, but another upset could slot them down if the committee thinks they are in enough of a slump. It will be very interesting to see how this shakes out.

Congrats ISU, here's your dance ticket.

I'm sorry that nobody is going to want to dance with you.
