Bruce keeps coming back to White Sox interest in Javier Vazquez, via the 3 way trade. Wills brought up both Jaret Wright and Wilson Alvarez ... Alvarez being a swing guy, a Sean Lowe type who can relieve and spot start.

 

He commented on Alvarez knowing a lot of the Sox players, and Guillen.

 

I heard the same thing as WHarris, Levine thinks there's a good chance something happens with Vazquez, RJ, etc. over the next 5-6 days.

Levine reiterated the potential Vazquez 3 way, said his sources told him Boras gave the White Sox MRIs on Magg's knee. Wills mentioned the Sox may be interested in Willie Alvarez as a long reliever spot starter swing man.

Not everyone reads everyday either... Its all a preference thing. I live on here, so it doesn't affect me either way

Why would you need to yell in the first place? Even if you are pissed off, yelling at a couple of radio hosts won't get you anywhere anyway. Besides you will get a lot further if you come up with a calm rational thought, versus coming off as a raving lunatic.

Personally I have never minded the duplicate threads within reason. Some people it bothers... meh, whatever. The whole point of the site it to diseminate information. >Whatever it takes to do that is cool with me.

Esteban Yan would have made a good "what if we picked up this guy..." kind of thread. Levine, I wouldn't understand if anyone did post something on him. Why would anyone want him?

Patience is required here. It's only December 7. I don't always agree with KW's moves but I do believe he's working his ass off to better the team. If KW has any weakness its that he gives too much and is too eager to make a deal (a trait that continues to concern me.) KW does not sit pat because he wants to.

I am not all over KW yet. He's got to do something by the Thursday before Soxfest or things are going to get VERY interesting. Either way I'll have plenty of fun. We eitehr walk around optimistic for three days or we get stuff off our collective chests at the Q and A. I think they try to bring in Hawk as a way to keep the fans in a good mood but that didn't work out so well last year. I wonder if KW would come down with a "throat ailment".
