Former Packer Reggie White

Featured Replies

Football players and especially linemen demand so much of their bodies during their careers. Reggie, you were far too young. RIP.

Damn, that is really sad. R.I.P Reggie.

NO! RIP Reggie, you were a great guy, and a helluva football player.

May he rest in peace he was truly a hero on and off the field...

true but isn't this the wrong site to post this?

he was truely a class act as i remember him

Who cares, when a legend dies and someone pays tribute to them in the wrong forum, (the forum MOST people read), the rules go out the window.

RIP, Reggie White

 Why is this the Wrong Forum? Sports Bar, Didn't Reggie play football? ;)

Reggie was always a very spiritual leader. I had all the respect in the world for him as a fan. No matter what the media tried to portray him as.

Wasn't Reggie a pastor or something like that...

He was the only packer I actually routed for.

This was really sad news to hear this morning. RIP Reggie. :pray

shocked when i heard it. rip reggie...

someone posted this in the baseball forum

Reggie was a good guy. He is going to be misssed

I know how it is to lose a hero at a young age. Derrick Thomas for the Chiefs was my favorite player and died at age 33 during his career. Yes it was different than Reggie's death, but it's still a death. RIP Reggie.

I had no clue he was so young. Only 43. It's a shame. Football and the world will miss him. I hated the Packers but I loved him.

R.I.P. Reggie, you will be missed.

I was pretty shocked by this. 43 and died of a heart attack - one of the best ever...

RIP Reggie.

I was shocked when I turned on the Dolphins game and saw this.

One of the rare people who ever though he was a superstar and a multi millionaire he was still a great guy. Wish there were more guys like him in every sport.

You will be missed...

I had a lot of respect for the man. I heard him witness to a group of college athletes and man he was a powerful speaker. Rest in Peace,

Matthew 25:21 (New International Version)

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!’

RIP Reggie.

From what I have read/heard yesterday, the heart attack was an effect of some other disorders he had (sleep apnea (sp?)) being one of them.

Prayers for Reggie and his family. :pray

Just before he became a minister, weren't there drug rumors about him??
