It's all good except for this godawful default skin.

The skin is terrible. I liked the black look...hope this is temporary...its difficult on my eyes.

I'll have a new skin sooner or later.

i also dont like the fact that you cant see what threads you have posted in, as before with the little dot

 

EDIT: maybe you can with the little thing in the corner of the icon but not as easy to see as that nice dot

I'm with you on that, I think we'll be able to fix that. I'm thinking once the colors change we can create custom graphics and replace the one with the little thing on the corner with like a baseball in the middle or something that makes it blatant that you've posted it in.

Yeah, I don't like that, particularly....

A IPB that my son visits is formatted that way. I get all confused on that one.

Looks like the Borderline skin puts them on the right by default. The invisionskins.com website says they can be moved to the left with some editing. Maybe we could vote on what skins to add to Soxtalk?

yeah i like the borderline grey skin cept for the avs and stuff being on the right side, too.

Yea, i just put that in the other thread too. A weird thing though is that if you go to the Announcements thing above pinned topics Heads avatar is in the right place there.

After working with it for a bit, i actually like the avatars on the right, like mr. zero said, your eyes go to the posts first.

I prefer the avatars on the left, personally. I don't know what the masses think.

Here's my thinking. We leave that gray one up the way it is. That way those that like a little different look can go for that.

 

Then we'll also make a 2nd version of this current format, but in a more White Sox color.

 

This gives everyone a couple options. The color scheme and format you see now. A more White Sox color scheme with the avies on the right and then the format you see now with a White Sox color scheme.
