IMO we trade Joe, for what ever we can get for him, he serves less of a purpose than Willie does.

Joe Borchard was destined for Charlotte long before the signing of Iguchi. The Sox have at least 6 guys who can play OF (Dye, Pod, Everett, Gload, Perez, Rowand) without even counting Willie Harris in that list. Joe B will be the starting RF for the Knights.

You know that's not going to happen not matter how much you may want it.

If we keep Willie, Borchard has to go. And another decision will have to be made when Frank comes back.

Cliff Politte is missing from this list...anyway, borchard is gone, no doubt. They should trade him for a bag of baseballs, if anyone is willing. :bang

May i ask, what do you have against polls? Every time one is put up you say something about them.

Josh...you need to update your pic of Arroyo too. Jazz made a big mistake on that one.

Cause 99.5% Of the polls here ask questions that have been asked over and over and over and over again. Plus Many are somewhat DUMB ;)

Keep Harris for league minimum. Use him as a back up plan for Iguchi, a lefty off the bench, a pinch runner, and a backup centerfielder. Trade Timo for whatever prospect they could get and save the team 600,000. Bring in Larkin or another infielder capable of backing up Short. Willie has more upside than Timo. Unless there is a skeleton in Willie's closet that we are not aware of, that's what I'd do with him.

I can't blame KW for signing Timo and Ben Davis at the time. He didn't know then that AJ and Iguchi would be on the team. Now, I think Willie and Burke are cheaper and more versatile alternatives.

I agree most are.. just not mine! :P

Keep Timo as your 4th outfielder and Willie as your backup 2nd Baseman. It's that simple. Borchard = September Call-up.

I would trade Borchard for a groundskeeper.

Borchard will be a September call-up well into his thirties. I just hope he doesn't have all of them with us. :D

I don't like the choices. Borchy is not expected to make the roster & Harris will only make the roster if we can't find someone better. I don't see how these two are linked.

Why? We have the best groundskeeper in the game :bang

Keep Willie, we already have a bunch of outfielders as it is. Not too mention Sweeney and Anderson in the minors.

This would make the most sense for the team. However your forgetting the intangible. The fact KW and Ozzie have a massive hardon for Timo and they think Willie is the second coming of Mike Caruso.

I agree. Trade Harris for Farns.

Mike Caruso had at least one good year.. Harris still has not manged one.

Yet harris had a higher obp than caruso did in his good year.

What happened to Mike Caruso? He had such a good first season. How did he completely lose his hitting abilities?
