February 11, 200521 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 06:12 PM) What? That skinny little dude? Uh ok?!?! You do not have to become a monster like sosa, bonds, giambi, etc if you take them.
February 11, 200521 yr maybe that's why Mcgwire ended his career with an injury, Giambi currently has an injury, and Nomar has an injury. Maybe the roids are messing with their bodies...making them weaker....like when Giambi got the parasite. Any player is an idiot if they take steroids....they do a ton more harm than good....doesn't matter how much you take or don't take.

I don't think nomar has had any injuries that could have been because of steroids. Has he? I don't remember them all.

He had a wrist injury in 02 I believe it was where they had no idea what caused it, and it cost him about all but like 10 games of the season. This past year, he pulled his achilles tendon, or something like that, and was out for 2 months. Those are about all the injuries I can think of for Nomar

Interesting.
February 11, 200521 yr aw jezzus...if this is true, I think the cuddly little Northsiders would be jumping off buildings on Clark and Addison.
February 11, 200521 yr Is that how he got that big schnoz? Edited February 11, 200521 yr by SoxFanForever
February 11, 200521 yr well it makes sense. Athletes today are a lot more injured than athletes in the past and i bet steroids is a big cause of it. And as Hawk would say a little baby fat never hurt.

February 11, 200521 yr Now its time for Barry and Sammy to confess as well. Oh, and we definitely can’t forget Willie Harris. :rolly
February 11, 200521 yr once the book comes out we'll need to compile a list, a short one I'm sure, of people Jose doesn't claim used roids

Tribune newspaper reporters are scrambling right now in their offices. The personal campaign to discredit Jose Canseco has officially begun. How dare anyone suggest a current Cub player has injected himself with steroids?! Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if Tribune posted a picture of Canseco with a White Sox jersey; refering to him as "former White Sox DH..." We've seen how the newspaper seeks methods of shifting attention off themselves. Edited February 11, 200521 yr by Flash Tizzle

February 11, 200521 yr Latest report is that Canseco just mentions him in the book and does NOT accuse him of roids.
February 11, 200521 yr QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 12:45 AM) Totally attainable physique.....roid free.
February 12, 200521 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 12:12 AM) What? That skinny little dude? Uh ok?!?! Steroids does not necessarily equate to bulk. One could use steroids along with a workout program to gain lean muscle tissue without bulking up. Guys with Nomar's build would have difficulty bulking up, but they can still be ripped and very muscular. I am not saying that he did it or did not do it, but that bulk is not the only result.
February 12, 200521 yr QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 08:10 PM) Totally attainable physique.....roid free. Most any physique is attanable without taking roids. It just takes more dedication, harder work and more time.
