79 pitches (41 for strikes) by Wood. Those are Contreras-like numbers. If the Brewers' hitters were a tiny bit patient they would have alot more than 1 run scored.

The big surprise right now for the Brewers is their rotation. If they can keep this up they might leep over the Cubs. I see the Brewer's as MGD & the Cubs as Bud. We all know which is the better beer.

BTW, why is it that WSox fans will go to Cub games when the WSox are on the road but the Cub fans won't extend the WSox the same courtesy? I'm going to a game this weekend because I got an invite. It seems the only time Cub fans go to the Cell is when it's a 1/2 price night or when the Cubs are playing there.

It just further strengthens the belief that WSox fans are true baseball fans & Cub fans

are mostly Wrigley fans.

They showed Mia Hamm again while Nomar is at bat. So lame. She looks like the female version of Nomar, which is ugly.

Nomar pops it up with Patterson at 2nd base. He is really choking to start the season.

Overbay with a 1-out single through the hole that is Nomar. Carlos Lee up...

Carlos Lee with a single to shallow RF. Overbay to 3rd base. Carlos continues to kill Wood and the Flubs.

Hits a bloop into RF, man advances to 3rd with Lee on 1st. 1 out.

By the way, nice ad behind the plate at the Urinal. I thought the Flubs would never sell out?

Wood walks Damian Miller. That's his 4th walk. Bases juiced. 2 outs. Russell "The K Master" Branyan up.

3-1 to Branyan...

Wood walks Branyan. 1 run scores. HAHA!

:headbang

Big surprise. Wood taken out of the game after throwing 104 pitches through 5.2 innings. Tie game. Bases still juiced with 2 outs. Wuertz coming into the game.

Wood will never win more than 14 games.

J.J. Hardy pops out to shallow CF. Inning over. Tied at 2.

He threw...God is so overrated.

Jay disagrees

Brady Clark at 2nd, Spivey at 1st for the Brewers. Overbay up with 1 out. It's 3-2 Flubs.

Chad Fox walks Overbay. Bases juiced for Carlos Lee with 1 out! HAHA!

Carlos Lee swings at a bad pitch up and away and hits it to foul territory near 1st base where Derek Lee makes the catch. 2 outs.

I told my friend in an im right then, that he was either going to homer or pop out.

OMG CARLOS IS CHEATING AGAINST THE SOX BY MAKING THE CUBS THE BETTER TEAM!

I will never stop making fun of that that thread

Remlinger coming in to face Geoff Jenkins with 2 outs.

That last AB by Carlos was horrible I must say

Yes, it was. He swung at an obvious ball.
