ESPN has it right. I'd go with their pitch count as well (84-53). That's a Santana like line. It was a solid start because he rested the pen. It looks like just Viz & Marte will have to pitch tonight.

Why would you ever call an inside fastball with Marte playing to a lefty? You could see that happening as soon as A.J. set up behind the plate. Another terrible f***ing job by Ozzie of using the bullpen. Marte should have been in to start the inning, so that he had breathing room against 3 out of 4 lefties.

Boone definitely has a slider speed bat. Shingo needs to be careful with his slow stuff, Boone can hit it out to RF easily.

Marte has a better chance of hitting a batter than throwing a strike if the catcher is set up inside.

Ozzie clearly has no confidence in Marte & that's going to hurt the team in the long run. If the next matchup favors Shingo then I can understand it but using Marte for one batter is crazy otherwise.

Maybe they realized their mistake about when Vizcaino entered the game. Sometimes it takes a while when they have to go back and correct the game data.
