Big DP! Very good job by Garland there to get a very tough batter.

Now entering the game for the Sox. Judy Garland. Come on, get out of this and let someone else finish it up. :pray

Phew Jon weathers the storm.

Anyone else think that was a hit off the bat by Winn?

6 outs left, under 90 pitches. He's still got the CG WIN left :D Big play!

I swear to god if jon comes out for the 8th i'm gonna kill oz.

Twins were outhit 7-3 by Cleveland, yet still won. 3-2. :headshake

Oz needs to make a pitching change. Jon pitched 7 strong. Trust the pen.

A little rough the last innning but still a fine outing for Garland tonight.

Lets finish up this win and go on to tomorrow.

Well that is an awful idea.

Jon only has 87 pitches. If Oz brings him out, he better be on a very short leash. Like not be bringing the tying run to the plate.

Does Iguchi look as bad as his line?

Vizcaino should be starting the inning. No reason to mess around with Garland out there. Spiezio has always been dangerous vs Garland in the past.

Yes, he looks as bad at the plate as he did good against Santana on Sunday night.

look at what happened yesterday. Oz let duque go onto the (6th?) and he walked the first guy on four pitches which led to the big inning.

He looks pretty silly at the plate tonight.

Aaron Heilman pitched a cg 1 hitter against the Marlins. Bruce Chen has dominated the Yankees. And Neifi Perez supplied the Cubs' power. So yeah, today's gone pretty much as expected.

OUCH

Garland's done. Vizcaino on.

vizcaino in, nice decision ozzie.

Nice game jon

No complaining by me tonight about the decision to pull Garland. Relievers always seem to have a better chance against the first hitter when there's no one on base.

That name sounds familiar? Oh that's right. He went to Notre Dame.

I sure don't miss Olivo being a liability against any righty pitcher that has a slider. I'll never forget his pathetic at-bat at Tampa Bay 2 seasons ago when he swung at some sliders a good 2 feet outside.

Valdez missed that one by a good foot and a half...
