Damn, Contreras already has 75 pitches. Byrd has 48.

Yep, and he cost us at least 2 runs, and possibly more with his performance at 1b.

I don't know if anyone cares, but here's the matchups for the Indians series:

Fri: Hernandez vs Westbrook (2-7, 5.03)

Sat: Garland v Tallett (0-0, 0.00) MLB Debut subbing for Millwood?

Sun: Buehrle v Sabathia (4-3, 3.58)

The Count went 3-0 on Finley, came back and got him. Then he goes 3-0 on Anderson and eventually walks him. Now he's gotta get McPherson out. Something he's had trouble with. Way too man balls this inning.

Paging Luis Vizcaino, you will be in this game--don't suck balls!

We have our work cut out for us. Westbrook vs Hernandez is a terrible match-up for us, and C.C. has looked dynamite his last few starts.

Contreras at just over ninety pitches already. Not looking real good at all today. I am watching ESPN2

What are the chances this guy shuts us down, making us look awful in the process?

Contreras gets McPherson, goes 1-0 to Molina.

On to the bottom of the 5th.

If this was last year I would say it was a cinch that the newbie shut us out on 1 hit and had 12 K's. This year it's only 90%

i HAVE TO WATCH MY SPULLING

Tallet is not making his MLB debut.

Against us maybe?!

That's like asking a leopard to change its spots, or like teaching a dog new tricks, or like Crede not sucking (As he makes yet another out).

He'd be looking a lot better if it weren't for you-know-who.

HIS NEMESIS

I meant Timo, but McPherson isn't helping either.

He doesn't have any stats - that's why I guessed it was. Do you know anything about him?

Westbrook was awesome on opening day - and repeatedly has been beat by team's aces - but how does he have a 5 ERA? I like us in that one - if El Duque is healthy.

I know he was up in 2003. I think he had some sort of injury that kept him out until recently.

Westbrook got killed against the Tiggies numerous times. He's been real good in his last 2 to 3 outings though.

can a brother get a camera angle on a foul ball that looked gone? Yeesh, comcast.

Why the f*** is Timo playing first. Can we bring Gload up. He at least knows how to play first.

Nice to see a soft tosser=home run only swings

Nice Sunday Jerry Manuel lineup today.

Does anyone else feel really bad for Contreras? Damn, the guy would be having another great game if Timo didn't f*** him. Things like this happen to him every game. Poor bastard.

Thankfully, we played Timo. Thus, the advantage of having someone who's never played the position before in the majors has really paid off. What will Ozzie do next?
