Does KW make a move for a reliever any time soon?  What does everyone think?

 

I sure hope so. Get someone who HAS to pitch the 8th like Wagner. That way Ozzie has less innings to mismanage...

I think that he has to. Shingo is s***, Walker is s***, Viz is s***, Cotts is mostly s***. That makes for a pretty s***ty pen.

We already saw Kevin Walker pitch.

No, the sox have an ok bullpen, when Viz and walker dont pitch. But we could use another big bat.

hermy/marte/politte/cotts?/shingo?/Viz-no/walker-no/

they definitely need at least one more bullpen arm. I'd still go with two more solid dependable arms to make the bullpen solid as a whole. Right now there are three good relievers two questions and two gaps in the bullpen.

I'm concerned we're going to need someone for the 9th inning also soon.

I choose to look at it as 7 series won.  Yeah, it gets frustrating, but I try to see something positive in it.

 

I am probably no where near as pissed as the rest of the people here because I spent the last hour and a half on a paint run so I missed most of the game).

Apparently Ozzie doesn't see what everyone else sees. He's let our best reliever go 6 days without pitching. If I'm KW, I either A. Talk to Ozzie and tell him he's been a f-ing jackass lately or B. Put Ozzie in a situation where he HAS TO pitch a certain player in the 9th. This can not continue...

All kidding aside, if Frank goes yard, I'll probably laugh till' I puke.

Contreras did not have his stuff today. It seamed he kept on falling behind on the hitters giong 2-0 and 3-1 giving them a good pitch to hit.

It doesn't help the cause when, before the game, Ozzie made some controversial moves with the lineup before the game even started. He put Timo Perez at first and he has not been there in like 6 yrs and you are expecting a close knit game and you have Perez there as a defense breakdown waiting to happen. If Perez was not in the game, the first 4 run inning would not have taken place. Either Pierzynski or Dye should have scored the runner from second instead of settling for the one run lead. This lead to Ozzie taking conrol of the game and making a decision of keeping Contreras in there or putting Walker in there. He had no idea with what he was doing with his bullpen..Simple as That.
