June 30, 200520 yr Author QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 11:50 AM) You're so mean! Don't you know he posts here? You'll hurt his feelings. Milkman...I am just delivering!
June 30, 200520 yr This Marte thing really concerns me. I mentioned when they were in Toronto he was shaking his arm after he threw in the bullpen. This injury he has now is probably related to that. Losing him would be a big blow.
June 30, 200520 yr Well. This kinda sucks. Marte was trade bait and now he isn't. But why Walker with his 15.00 ERA!
June 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 11:52 AM) Kevin Walker = Can you make a picture of Walker getting punched in the face? I'd like to see something like that.
June 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 12:55 PM) Can you make a picture of Walker getting punched in the face? I'd like to see something like that. I would as well! Ozzia Walker

June 30, 200520 yr Rooney and Farmer are saying that Marte was put on the DL likely as a precautionary move so he can maximize his days of rest with the All-Star break coming up. They said that Kenny is probably worried more than anyone else.
June 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 11:09 AM) Rooney and Farmer are saying that Marte was put on the DL likely as a precautionary move so he can maximize his days of rest with the All-Star break coming up. They said that Kenny is probably worried more than anyone else. In one of the papers today, it said Marte was in Chicago yesterday attending to a personal matter and he returned to Detroit during the game yesterday. I bet he was getting examined.
June 30, 200520 yr Farmer just said that Kenny will want to see Marte do a rehab assignment before he comes back. Kenny will want to see him back to throwing the proper way. I guess Marte has been throwing differently with his injury.
June 30, 200520 yr why the hell of all people do they bring up kevin walker for, he cant hit the zone and hes terrible
June 30, 200520 yr The Baj-lovers will love this... Latest News Jun. 30, 2005 - 1:18 pm et White Sox recalled LHP Kevin Walker from Triple-A Charlotte. The White Sox could have given fellow lefty Arnie Munoz or righty Jeff Bajenaru an opportunity, but they're OK with what they have now. Walker, who allowed four runs in three innings in his first stint with the White Sox, won't be needed to get important outs.
June 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 01:35 PM) POLL: Soxtalk Loves Kevin Walker WOW! That is probably the stupidest we at Soxtal have ever been as a combined group! :headshake
June 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 12:24 PM) That's pretty good, but I'd still rather seen Walker punched in the face. Though I'll settle for kicked in the balls, shot in the face, or stabbed in the eye.
June 30, 200520 yr Kevin Walker may not pitch well.. but no one wants to wish physical harm or death upon him... /Hi FBI/Police!
June 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 12:46 PM) Kevin Walker may not pitch well.. but no one wants to wish physical harm or death upon him... /Hi FBI/Police! i dunno it could be a possibility if he has one bad start
June 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 09:40 AM) Well, I suggested picking up lefty Mike Stanton when the Yankees release him. How does that move look now? For $3 million? No thanks.
June 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 12:51 PM) i dunno it could be a possibility if he has one bad start Well, it's a good thing for Walker's sake that he doesn't start games, huh?
June 30, 200520 yr Congrats to Mike Stanton, as you've become Soxtalk's *Official* "Flavor of the Week". If you recall, Kevin Walker also had this spot for about a month, as well as Arizona Diamondback Alex Cintron. I'm sure that we'll see tons and tons of stats on you -- sometimes bolded, other times provided by links -- that you know we haven't ever seen before. Oh... and this is a good move, 'cause Kevin Walker >>> Neal Cotts. Right?
