Every Vendor at the Sox game tonight was wearing a Vote for Scott pin. Pretty cool.

I saw somebody in the dugout wearing a "vote for scott" in the same fashion as the popular "vote for pedro" shirt. I don't know who it was though. Maybe Oney.

There is nothing in the official rules about 25 votes!!! 25 was for the regular all-star vote!!

Phew, I was getting worried for a minute there. I just had a huge glass of Iced Tea and now I should be up for awhile!

We have a chance, well, actually, Scott Podsednik has a chance.  The race between Pods and Derek Jeter for the 32nd man on the American League All-Star Team is close.  You can vote an ulimited number of times for the Final Vote, so keep clicking.  It's hilarious to see Paul Konerko and Neal Cotts in our clubhouse with mlb.com up on their screen voting away.  Guys have really gotten into this, which says something about the team chemistry and how well Pods is liked.

Guys please vote the real way. They did this same kind of Flash voting verification two years ago and trust me, it IS possible for them to validate this form using the key you enter in the form.

 

Don't risk getting your votes thrown away.

If you really care, the "swliveconnect" and "mayscript" attributes allow the Flash application, encryption_v3.swf, to access the form data you enter through a javascript function. The function they are using is probably getFieldValue() which is not shown here but declared in the page.

VOTE THE REAL WAY

Using fake emails is fine by the way. As long as they're formatted correctly just but something random '@hotmail.com' or something. Just make sure you validate it correctly.
