To anyone who got to watch on WCIU: Farmer said Hawk caught the ball Crede fouled off just before the homer. Is that true?

geez, everyone talks about how disappointing the yankees have been this year, but how about the red sox?

 

neither of these teams are 10 games above .500.  if the orioles were halfway decent (though thank you for beating the twins) they could have run away with this.

Well the Orioles have been very injury plagued, Roberts has missed a couple weeks, Sosa a couple months and has sucked, whole OF has been injured(remember they had the rookie from high A playing against us) and than Bedard their best pitcher been injured and Javy Lopez... Bedard just came back and Lopez isnt 2 far away I think so they might take it.

 

Im rooting for the Orioles if for nothing else means one of the red sox or yanks for sure wont make it.

I haven't read all 4 pages of this thread, but Crede's pose after the 3 run bomb was AWESOME. I hope we see a lot of posters come from that and it WILL be part of the '05 highlight reel. I haven't been that pumped in a long time.

I tivoed this game. That Crede home run was probably one of the top three moments of the season. As soon as he hit it, you could hear the crowd and people up and down the street yelling. It was awesome!!!
