I can't believe this discussion is actually taking place. Ross Gload is not an everyday 1B for a good ML baseball team. He's a good DL fill in, late inning replacement and give the regular an occasional day off kind of guy. No disrespect to Ross, as those guys do have a certain amount of value. That's the time of year when teams with no shot bring up their AAA pitchers to see if they might be worth a s***. Yes, I'd say that's favorable conditions to a hitter.
