Anyone ever notice how the pitcher (on any team) never K's the hitter when the crowd first comes to their feet with 2 strikes?

We might want to score some more runs too, cause I doubt they sit pat with 3.

Cmon guys...he challenged him with that pitch just a tad high.  I think you guys need to embrace Vizcaino a little more than you are.  So he was absolutely horrible the first 3 months of the year, he has absolutely turned the corner!

The way Neal and Politte have pitched vs. lefties, especially of late, I'm beginning to think Marte is becoming more expendable.

Hopefully theres a GM out there that see's it that way as well.

We'll need to score plenty of runs to win today.  I fully expect Contreras to give up between 5-7 runs in about 4 or 5 innings.

He pitches like s*** in close games, his era is somewhat respectable because he pitched great in mopup.

I'm gonna have to disagree there. Marte has done it for years...before this season Cotts sucked, bad...whatever he changed, let's hope the majors don't notice it and make an adjustment...

Yeah, but we need more than two good relievers before Hermanson. While Marte hasn't been great, he's still been decent -- and I have more confidence in him than I do in Jenks and Vizcaino. That's why, if Marte does go, Kenny needs to have a plan to replace him.
