Carl's avg. with RISP (.299) is good, I agree. But there's more to being a good #3 hitter (and a good hitter in general) than how you perform in those situations. My point is that he's a #6 hitter.

Good to hear they didn't shorten it.  Heck it should have been more IMO.

Great pitching by Jon to get out of that jam. It is amazing how incredible he is in pressure situations this year as compared to 200-2003. He has no fear of any situation anymore.

Please don't use that a boy. During the Red Sox series I went Thurs. and Friday, there was a Red Sox fan 2 row behind me, that's all he said every pitch. At a boy Manny, at a boy big Papi, at a boy Billy.......I just got it out of my mind and now you have me reliving my torture.

No sir. Your main point was that Carl sucks.

I think his less than regular playing time has an effect on all of his numbers.  Before Thomas came back, Carl was having a pretty good year.

 

Thomas came back at the beginning of June IIRC. June was Carl's best month.

Thanks for the compliment. Honestly it is the negativity of a few certian people that makes me avoid this. Today those people are pretty much not posting or present.
