But I'm actually curious. It would make some sense...in a way...maybe. There could be something in there that tests like 'roids. Heck, I'm no chemist. Maybe he should switch to Cialis to see if he still tests positive.

I highly doubt there's any kind of steroid in viagra. That's the kind of thing that has to be worned to the user ahead of time. If viagra contained a steroid it would be expressed to the consumer before they took it.

Iirc, Viagra is a vasoconstrictor which is about the blood and veins, not muscle mass, so no, I would be shocked if it somehow confounded steroid results.

Just to echo some others, the only way he can be charged with perjury is if they can get proof that he did steriods prior to the hearing.

 

If I am under oath and I swear I never kicked Sosa, and then after the trial I go and kick Sosa, there would be no perjury. Because at the time of the trial, I was telling the truth.

 

This suggests that he was lieing, but with out any hard facts, and with Angelo's law firm behind him, I doubt the DA is going to be investigating.

But that's just the thing that will keep any pergury (sp?) rap from sticking. "I didn't knowingly take in any enhancers..." Just like Karl Rove didn't knowingly do anything illegal in outing Valerie Plame.

Hmmm, it starts to get exciting at this point, as long as it's not one of our players. After the leak of what Palmeiro was on, I am really surprised this leaked out. I wonder when we will find out.

I don't think it should be any surprise.... In both the Palmeiro and Franklin cases, we've seen how slow the process works. This person probably failed a test months ago, but they're going through this appeal process.

 

Patrick is probably just as credible as JD was... We may not know until monday, but I don't doubt that there is another big name about to be taken down.
