This s*** happened in Oakland .. they hit us and we can't f***ing retaliate.  Well, the Sox did the right thing.  It was time to drill somebody, damn the consequences.

if the guy at second or first get out....the streak is still intact because they are buehrles runners....and only one more out is needed  or so i think that's how it goes

Don't know if this has been said but it looks like this breaks 6+ innings streak...

 

I just woke up and tuned in (It's only 11:30 here), and that was the first pitch I saw. I immedeiately checked the inning and outs... 5 2/3 innings. That pisses me off, I like streaks.

The situation didn't make sense, but watching the pitch and knowing MB's control, there is no doubt that was on purpose. None.

Uhh no. He was definitely throwing at him. Everyone calling the game agrees on that part.

With a runner already on 1st?  Shouldn't it have been with 2 out, nobody on?  Oh well, I'll take retaliation no matter what.

So let's put a man in scoring position and we now have to rely on vizcaino to come in and get out of this. If and we we have to retaliate do it with two outs and no outs with a bigger lead. No need to risk getting throw out by a jackass. Buehrle should have learned his lesson when he nearly got throw out a couple games ago for the same reason.

 

I would also like to retaliate with someone who throws a little faster ( politte, marte, jenks).

It goes to show that Mark Buehrle is a great teammate, streak be damned. Mark cared more about standing up for AJ and Tadahito vs his own personal accomplishments. The team obviously comes first to him, and I respect him for that.
