Ok. But this is Santana. Swinging and missing off of him is pretty normal. And I know Iguchi has had trouble lately with this scenario, but overall he has been very reliable in these situations. It's a long season. For all of the games that have been played this year, I think he has done fulfilled his hitting responsibilities as well as anyone on the team. And this from a guy that is facing Major League hitting for the first time. He isn't up there hitting 9th, where he can play see ball, hit ball - he has to take all kinds of pitches, hit where the infielders aren't, give himself up. I wouldn't dream of moving him in the order, or getting on his case.

I was going to mention this in one of the many threads on this site dealing with this. When Ozzie and KW say they're comfortable with what we have, that's a problem to me. It just seems like we're a little complacent. Instead of just going with what we have in order to try and make a run in the playoffs, I like the attitude a lot more of adding on to what you have in order to be a better team. Oh well, there's no point of b****ing about it too much.

I thought that was gone.......the Twins ALWAYS make catches like that against us.

Absolutely. That was vintage Stewart....make a tough play look amazing, and have to leave the game due to injury.

If he is out for awhile the twins are officially done.
