I watched 2.6 seconds of it last night. I like Jeremy Piven and I was stoked to see "Fall Out Boy" beat the stupid rap videos.

I didn't think it was possible.

I only saw about 10 minutes of it, and from those 10 minutes I had two thoughts:

 

1) What was the singer from My Chemical Romance wearing? A flak jacket? I couldn't even focus on whether their song was good or not, because I kept looking at that guy and wanting to give him a wedgie.

 

2) How did MC Hammer get in? Were the VMA's open to the public this year?

I didn't think it was possible.

 

Sadly, it did happen. The jokes weren't funny, the crowd wasn't responding, and it ended in an awkward silence. I was disappointed.

 

If you ever turn to mtv at any time in the next month or 2, you'll inevitably see that damn awards show...

 

And Eva Longoria looked good in a swimsuit.

 

I only saw about an hour of it, but I doubt I missed anything important.

She was screaming more than she was singing. It was brutal. Sounded nothing like the song.

I didn't even know the vma's happened until I read this thread. After reading this thread I still don't care

I tuned in for a second last night and all I saw was Eric Roberts and then R Kelly lipysynching on purpose. Needless to say I was completely confused and changed the channel.

I like her sound a lot better now, I think this new album is really good. I don't regret spending the money on it.

 

But, I think her bleach blonde, super thin look is far less attractive. She went from pretty and normal looking to cookie cutter superstar look. But the music is good, so I just won't look at her as I rock out.

i dont' know of a band nominated on that show that i like...(unless white stripes were on?)

It's incredible the popularity that Fall Out Boy has gotten in the last year. One of my best freinds brother's is in the band, and all the guys for the most part are from the Northern suburbs.

Not from the VMA's, but who cares.
