Yes, I read that too.  That's why raw stats can be so misleading but that's what a lot of fans lean on.

Well, it tells me that their starting pitching has been incredible, while ours has been mediocre.

Wow Brandon is just lights out so far. Really has all his pitches working tonight.

good start

B-Mac K's Tyner to end top of he third. He is looking really sharp tonight.

Hawk pissed at Ozzie. LOL.

What was he pissed at Ozzie for?

He wants lineup stacked with lefties.

Ozuna grounds out softly to second. Inning over.

Santana at 32 pitches through 3

Santana only has one strikeout but his pitch count is staying down. I guess it all depends how we would rather lose.

At least they're trying a different approach at the plate tonight.

It tells me that it's simply not true...

Cleveland has scored more runs in less games than us in September, and has a higher OPS than us.

If what you saw was that we had outhit cleveland .281 to .275, that's simply a shows how useless batting average is for measuring offense.

Bartlett pops up to Crede in foul ground. 1 away

I like the aggressiveness. There's no point in getting into a 2 strike count against Johan, he's gonna K ya...might as well pick a pitch and go with it.

Pods

Yankees just took the lead 2-1. 3-1 count to Mauer

Mauer grounds out to Konerko. 2 down

RALLY CRUDDY TIME BASTAGES....get some runs against Cy Santana will ya?

KC at least is tied with the Injuns

:gosox2:

Lecroy hits one to the warning track but Aaron makes the catch. Heading to the bottom of 4 still 0-0

phew. lecroy almost went deeep.

If a Sox had hit that, Hawk would have definitely said "Stretch." It was deep but looked like it would be a bit short.
