It would be better for the Sox at this moment if the AL East teams lost.  The Indians stuff doesn't matter as much.  This team needs all the help it can get to make the playoffs.

Agree, I can't see why he didn't just give Pierzynski a chance to redeem himself.

I thought the reason we had that Timo guy on this team was because he is a pinch hitter. I mean considering that he was put in as a DH, a leadoff guy and a first baseman. Now we actually needed a pinch hitter and we dont use him.

He had a choice between using Anderson or Casanova for a single AB or Blum. You have virtually nothing to go on with Anderson & Casanova. Ozzie went with the veteran.
