Everett earned himself the starting spot for the rest of the year.  As dire as things have been, that was a huge, huge hit.

I'm not the optimistic one, but I agree with your belief about the offense picking up. These players are under such negative stress right now, they're pressing so much at the plate. Once they get into the playoffs, they'll basically go from chokers to underdogs.

Look if we can't win regualr games we don't deserve to be in the playoffs..
