Playoff Times

The Score (670AM) is saying that regardless of who they play, the White Sox will open up on Tuesday at 3:09 PM.

Obviously, that sucks for those us at work, and hoping to actually watch some of the game...

Where is the Score getting this information?

Does anyone know the times for Game 2 ?

I thought I had read a few days ago that ESPN also has some 1st round playoff games ?

If so, aren't some of those in the evening ? Any hope here ?

I know FOX is catering, as expected, to the Yankees, it just would be nice to have that Game 2 in the evening.

There not going to show 2 MLB playoff games at the same time regardless of the channel, on days with 3 games there will be games at 1,4 and 8. 2 games probably 1 and 8, Depending on the west coast.

From MLB.Com

When Division Series play commences on Tuesday, Game One of the American League Division Series involving the AL East Champion New York Yankees will be played at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on FOX with the other ALDS starting at 4:00 p.m. Eastern on ESPN. Game One of the National League Division Series involving the NL West Champion San Diego Padres will be held at 1:00 p.m. Eastern on ESPN. The entire Division Series will be available on ESPN Radio.

Nice to the be 'other' ALDS.

If I was the one making the decision, I'd put the Yankees on at night. The ratings will be much better. Welcome to capitalism, American style. In a socialist regime, with a national broadcasting schedule controlled by the government, it could be more fair and balanced, with everyone getting the same scheduled prime time games. So you are a pinko commie of you think the Sox should play at night.

There is only one way to solve this problem. The sox have to eliminate the Yankees and Red Sox from the playoffs. Then keep them out in the future by helping the Royals or Devil Rays win the wild card and the East Then the sox get the good time slot!

There is a great chance White Sox first 4 would ALL be day games :finger FOX, Lead AL in wins in 2000 and 2005 and play day games it is bulls*** to the Team.

It will be the same time on Wednesday.

NL Game (Atl) @ 12, Sox @ 3, Yanks @ 7

So the Cards game gets that noon spot then as well?? That's rough for the Padres fans.

EDIT: Nevermind the Cards game is on Tuesday, I'm retarded. :bang
