frank kicked off the series against boston with a bang, maybe i'm just super superstitious, but i say give him the ball again!

Darn, Not a bad one. Well Either Frank or Pudge, Do a lil PR with Pudge. But if i gotta bet. It's probablt Mayor Daley.

I wonder if Governor Blagovecich (However you spell it) Will be at the game

Dee Brown :bang

Aparicio.

The biggest name in White Sox recent history, an idol of Ozzie's and a fellow Venzuelan.

Considering Lopez is 97 and probably not in any shape to throw a baseball, I'd go Frank in Game 1, because it set the tone the first time around. Aparicio in Game 2. If it goes 7, I'd follow up with Pudge and Minoso.

I don't think Reinsdorf would even consider "honoring" himself. Nancy and Hawk are certainly worthy of consideration, but I'd stick with the players. Nothing against Daley, considering he's lifelong fan, but to turn it into a photo opp for a politician just doesn't fly in my opinion.

Frank Thomas.

Minnie, and Aparicio for certain. Fisk was honored already this year, as was Frank. I don't see any repeats like that. I also don't think a former GM turned announcer will be getting a chance. Nancy would clearly be a crowd favorite if actual dyed in the wool Sox fans were at the game.

Here's a name not on the list and worthy of consideration, former Governor Jim Thompson who stopped time to get a stadium deal done and keep JR from moving the team.

I like Thompson too.

i think they should get all the members of the 59 team they can get to do a group pitch.

if they go with an individual, billy pierce should merit consideration.

I'd like to see Clemens, Oswalt, amd Pettit all throw out about a 100 pitches. Yes, I still think Houston wll be in.

Big Frank.

Span the generations:

Minnie Minoso and Brandon McCarthy

I went Minnie since he really is a proud ex-Sox player, and a great one.

I would also put in there Melton.

Ill take the big hurt.

Billy Pierce

Hey...not bad!

There are numerous good choices. IMO, though I like him, Hawk is not one of them.

He's definetly a possibility; he threw out the 1st pitch @ game 1 of the ALCS.

ME!!!

(as that seems to be the only way I'd get in. . . ) :bang

I don't see the team repeating anyone who has already done it this post season.

Who is the whole ceremonial tossing of the baseball for? The fans to see someone famous, special, etc. The person who tosses the pitch? The players? What'sp with the whole thing anyways? It seems kind of silly to me.

the "Get Up" Guy :headbang
