Would it be better if I said intensity instead of toughness?  I meant it more in regards to physical attribute rather than emotional/mental attributre.

What does being physically intense have to do with anything. Should he go out there and flex his muscles and then strike them out. Should he pop the veins up in his neck to show he cares.

Today had nothing to do with anything other than the fact that he had a bad day and Houston had a really good one.

Crede Crank

ph for jon

Wow, what a swing by Crede. Give him that extension, he deserves it!

Like I said, we're scoring here.

Great a bad call that went to the Astros. Let's show that one a few dozen times.

I'm not sure how anyone can be really upset with Garland. Sure, he's having a bad game but he's not gotten enough work because of how Ozzie set up the rotation.

All right, Joe.

Only three run deficit. Not insurmountable by any means.

PH for Jon I hope after this juan ab.

Uribe with a single to left.

Yup, that shot last inning was a double but s*** happens. Lets just get this s*** going.

PH for Garland! Nope...ugh

Bah, damn it ozzie.

Hopefully we can make Oswalt struggle to reach the 7th inning. That and the Astros bullpen so far has struggled against us.

No big deal, if that poor call costs us the game, we shouldn't have let it be that close. Mistakes happen, the Astros took advantage of it.

Keep Garland in to bunt, its an obvious choice. Unless, of course, he sucks at bunting.

We have to play for the big inning. A sac bunt just gives them that first out, and settles down Oswalt.

He sucks. :headshake

They really didn't take advantage of anything but I whole heartidely agree with you, got to win this game no matter what the umps do, they aren't going to win us or lose us the game. Garland about to k by the way.

If Ensberg is charging that close, Garland should really just pull back and take a rip.

exactly, just because our oppenents and the media have whined themself to the point of tears doesn't mean we should.

WE HAVE A BULLPEN FULL OF GUYS WHO HAVEN'T BEEN USED! What's the point of having Vizcaino if we're not going to play the game with urgency?

Damn, the butcher-boy almost worked.

we need more longballs.

we ain't a small ball team
