The urgency aspect is this: Who knows how many more chances we'll get in this game. We had a runner on base with the number 9 hitter coming up. If you get that number 9 hitter on base, then you have the chance at a big inning with the top of the order coming up. It's not like we need to keep Garland in because he's doing such a good job at shutting down the Astros.

Why is it too early? We have plenty of guys to go to that are fresh, and enough to not compromise the rest of the series. When you're down by 3, you need to worry about scoring first, and let the pitching resolve itself. Good discussion though
