I don't think Rowand would have been able to score, but they should of had him steal. Ausmus has a terrible time throwing people out.

The last two sliders were definitely hittable. If he even had the slightest clue about driving it to RF, he could have crushed that first slider.

I don't think Rowand scores even if he didn't slow up.....he barely made it in to third as it was after the slow up. Cora might have sent him....but I would have been surprised to see us score a run there.

Someone please give Rowand some baserunning lessons!!!

How in the hell is your head not in the game enough to know that there are 2 outs? That's f***ing terrible.

Do you guys think Rowand would have scored if he kept going?  There's no excuse for that by Rowand.

 

I don't think he would have scored. It's not like he stopped; he just hesitated for a couple of steps.

He had ZERO chance to score. The ball was already at the cut off when he was at third. If you give an extra 10 ft by running hard all the way and he still has ZERO chance.

Uribe was the WORST possbile hitter to have up in that siutation. He can only hit fastballs, which Backe is not throwing.

hey fathom i'm not being critical, just curious. when did you get your game face on in the playoffs. you were saying at the start of the bosox series you were just happy to be in the playoffs and would not be critical at all. You were brutal on Oz last night. Again, just curious.
