Lidge is warming up. He was unhittable last night.

At this point I'd take my chances w/ him

PODZ!

I hope our bats aren't dead for good.

PODS!!!

BACKE IS OUT!

Our inability to recognize slider pitchers has been bad all year long.

Crede crushed a hanger over the center of the plate.

Arow runs like a retard on the bases.

And Uribe cannot hit a slider just like Rowand cant hit a slider.

Well, with Uribe in particular, you think he'd realize after the second slider that was all Backe would be offering.

Uribe made absolutely no effort to crowd the plate and have a better swing at the slider he's continually thrown low/away.

Oh, I completely agree with you. But all of our hitters have known that slider was coming, and with the exception of a couple hits, we cant hit him tonight.

And damn pods, that looked like it hurt.

Podzilla!!! Nice catch!!!! :gosox1:

not very pretty pods

Ouch. Good play Scott. WTF is up with that turf.

backe is gone.

BAcke is out :headbang

Havent the Stros got the memo they are supposed to roll over and die for us?

THose bums.

Lidge and his slider are coming in.

So from a good slider to a great slider.

BACKE IS OUT!

Too bad. I think he was ready to get lit up.

It was dumb of him to stop, and a bad play because of it, but it had no effect on teh game in any way.

You don't and can't know that. Maybe Berkman makes a bad throw to the cutoff man or the cutoff man makes a bad throw home. Either way, Rowand's bad baserunning screwed any chance of it happening. You know Cora would have waved him home.

If we couldn't hit Backe's slider tonight, just imagine if Lidge is even close to on with his.

He has a metallic knee.

THIS IS OUR CHANCE! get this out and rock Lidge!

I want those posters on here now who last night kept saying we'd win.

I don't feel the W tonight.
