Just thought I'd ask. . . :)

Pretty good. Friday night was awesome, tons of fun. Finished 3rd in a pool tourney and than went out. Got home at 5:30 and had to get to a place at 8 AM to do some community service (for my frat we have to do a certain amt of hours of community service and its an honors accounting frat, so its not that kind of frat). I ended up sawing down a couple trees during community service (1st time I can say that happened).

Saturday night played some cards and won some cash (paying for my Friday night and Sunday night costs). Got tons of sleep Saturday and than watched the Bears game on Sunday.

Started off with a bang and ended with lots of sleep, which is something I love.

It was good. My high school football team advanced to the state quarterfinals for the first time in school history.

How was your weekend ChiSoxygirl?

This has to do with some type of experiment doesn't it? suspect.gif

Very bad. I have two big exams this week and a concert which takes away a night of studying. So basically I spent the weekend cramming.

Mixed bag here.......

Got a chance to relax which was welcomed. Watched some good football which was nice.

Planning a move, which is a pain in the ass.

Woke up to find out tornadoes wrecked part of my hometown. Found all my family was okay, so that was a relief, but the areas that were hard hit are areas I am very familiar with.

Good to hear everyone was safe in your family, Rex. I could hear those sirens here last night. Crazy stuff.

My weekend wasn't the best of weekends. I had an exam earlier tonight, and then I have another one tomorrow. So the majority of the weekend went towards studying.

I'd say the highlight of the weekend was watching the IU exhibition on Friday night.

Mine was OK to good.

Daughter slept over at her cousin's house on Friday night, and the wife and I went shopping for a new computer desk ( didn't find any that I liked ).

Wife worked Saturday, so I got to sleep in on Saturday, which NEVER happens. So that was nice.

Picked my little one up from my sister's house in the afternoon and after the Mrs. came home we went out for ribs. Yum. Came home and watched a little of The Ultimate Fighter finale ( decent welterweight final ) and then hit the sack.

Today was pretty dull - went grocery shopping, did a s***load of laundry, vacuumed the carpets, crap like that. My brother and sister-in-law came over to give me their copy of Nero for the computer, so THAT rocked.

Now I'm at work, which sucks ass.

Tomorrow while the little one's at school I will be shopping again, this time for a new Sox jacket. My jacket is ratty as f*** and needs to be retired.

There! That's my average-ass weekend in needless detail!

You're welcome....

Nope, I'm not that kind of psychologist. Just wanted to check in with my favorite internet friends. :)

My weekend was surprisingly good. My Fridays are always awful--and this one was about 10000000000000x worse than usual. But then my friend took me out to dinner to our fave place (it's a southern style place--mmmm, fried okra = instant feel good). Then we watched Field of Dreams. I cried. Then we went to our "favorite" bar, met up with some others and had a lot of fun. The rest of my weekend was nice and really low key. But it was surprisingly good considering the s***tiness of Friday.

Glad that most people had good ones--and those that didn't: I hope this week is better!

yup

Mine was OK.

Lots of work, lots of homework, but there were some real good sports, too bad most of my friends went home/were busy.

Mine was meh. Friday I felt like s*** so sat in and watched basketball the whole night. Yesterday hung out with some friends down here, watched the vtech-miami game, then watched the UFC rerun late at night, the main event was pretty damn good. As I do on all sundays sat on my ass and watched football. I did do some school work today so that's a surprise.

Mine was pretty good. Friday after work I came home, had a few beers with my roommate at the pub and then had to get to sleep for work. Saturday was work (6-10 am), writing a piece that might get published in some book and lounging at the coffeehouse. Today was lots of errands, cleaning and another day of work (6-10 am).

Neutral

Like 3E8, I have 3 exams this week (had one today). So I'm busy cramming, and it's not really a fun time now. But 3 and 3/4 months off is a good light at the end of the tunnel hey? :D

Considering I worked Fri,Sat, and Sun. id say it was not 2 go... But hey the Bears won so not all is lost.

Friday i won 1,000 dollars playing pool in a tournament. Later that night i celebrate by drinking myself into oblivion. On like my 19th shot ( had other s*** in between) we walked to jewel to get some food. While there the dumbasses left me alone and i started eating a flower... some security guard/cop guy was like '' you gonna pay for that''. Right when he said that i threw the plant down and dirt flew every where. He chased us out of the store and we had to run back to the house which is only about a block away. That block felt like about a mile considering i couldn't stand straight and kept falling.

Once we get back to the house i took several more shots. I went into the fridge and smacked myself in the face with the door and i am slightly brusied. After that went and layed down for a while. Starting throwing up all over myself and they dragged me into the washroom so that i didn't ruin any furniture. I was in the washroom for like an hour and a half i was told throwing up nonstop ( thankfully i ate before hand). They thought i was done so they tried to pick me up... i ended up throwing up on one of them and they dropped me from about three feet and my head now has a bump on it. After he dropped me he turned on the sink and the pipe cracked ( do not know why the hell or hw the hell this happened) but the fire department had to come to shut it off because it was flooding the first floor. But before the fire department came i was ont he front lawn for a while and some douches from inside the house took me to another friends house a few blocks down. They were pounding on the front door for a few minutes and no one would come to the door. They left me on his front f***ing lawn to die at 3-4 in the morning. My friend comes out a little later to smoke a cigarette and finds me... drags me in the house. Plops me on the couch and i slept for a few hours. I wake up because i had to piss/throw up... on my way to the washroom i walked into the pool table and stub my toes and hip/thigh.

Have had a migrane for the past two days but my stomache is finally back intact.

Only smart thing that happened this weekend is i took the 1,000 dollars back to my house before i drank.

yup

That particular line of thunderstorms moved through here a bit earlier that night. I had a door open, listening for the "train". It was pretty damn intense.

It went pretty good. ISU with a resounding victory. Got to see the basketball team play, even if it was in a loss. Got to spend time talking to a female, which is always neat. :) The football players that live next door and I played a ton of Madden. Then I got free Hickory Park.

Anyone who has eaten there, in Ames, knows what a lucky guy I am for that.

I am going to have to give this past weekend a 5 :)
