So yeah I actually downloaded a couple of episodes of this the other day, of season 2. May have to download some for season 3 as well.

Im in for sure. Love those shows.

Flipping through channels with the wife and we caught this show a couple times and watched it for a few minutes.

 

Is it a reality show or a sitcom?

 

My guess is they give the kids a script of sorts and then let them ad-lib through it, but I don't know.

My office just had a discussion about this, lol. My coworker told me that all of the kids from the original show were 21 when it occured, and that it all has been scripted from the start. I have no proof, she could have been talking outta her ass for all I know. But I thought that it might be scripted when those kids went to Spring Break and were drinking like fools throughout the whole episode. I wouldnt think MTV would want to put themselves into a position in which they were showing off underage kids drinking themselves into oblivion.

I think it is their real life, but the script is set for them. I also have heard they only record on the weekends. Kristen is currently taping a movie with Al Pacino.

A friend of mine is a relative of one of those ding dongs.. they were in HS when it started. LC was starting her Junior year. Her daddy knows some tv people and once that TV show "The OC" took off they pitched. They are given a "guideline" but for the most part it's as real as spoiled brats can be. As for the spring break drunk fest.. it was real. Stephen almost got arrested the night he called Kristen a whore. I posted their prom pictures a while back. My girlfriend has told me some hysterical stories about them.

What exactly does the Laguna Beach have to do with reality show?

The girls on their are dogs...except LC, but she's dumb as a brick.

The Laguna Beach cast was at Zero Gravity (weirdo teenage dance club in Naperville) last week.

And 2 of them were at Crobar on Saturday. Also, they were in town(I think the whole cast or alot of it) to do something at Loyola.

 

Most of the girls on that show is hot. And I don't know how much they acted and how much was real(too long of a discussion) but I know they were in High School when they did the tapings. And it makes sense for them not to record much on MWF because those kids gotta be doing some type of homework sometime and I'm sure the footage would've been boring for that time.

 

Season 3 didn't look interesting enough for me. I mean if you think about it, it would be the same repetitive storylines. There isn't much that wasn't covered. I'm more interested in "The Hills" which is the LC spinoff because it would be fun to watch them(original cast) grow up.

They have stopped taping and "guided" them I've been told.. Like that fiasco with Jason and LC.. at the fashion show supposedly Jason and her got into a second confrontation in front of her father and her father had some words for Jason. LC is a fashion major and already has an internship with a pretty large designer so her butt was on the line with that show. Jason totally could have effed up some major things for her. I haven't watched last nights yet, but in last weeks show I thought it was funny how she told him he could stop by but her father would not allow him in the house. That guy is such a moron. I hope he's not good enough to be being looked at by any major league scouts..
