KW goes under the knife

Featured Replies

On today's media call with Garland, KW mentioned he was going in for another surgery and he "hopes they get it all this time."

Hope everything is OK. Anyone know more?

Wish him the best.... he is in my thoughts today...

I think his arm or elbow was messed up.

Well whatever is wrong with KW i hope that it all gets fixed.

He also really messed up either his shoulder elbow a couple of months ago. It could be that too.

So does this mean Jose won't be traded for the next 12 hours?

he'll be making trades & phone calls from the operating table

i'll bet he'll let the surgeon make a trade just because he can.

kw is that damn good.

Its for a kidney stone

Williams will undergo a second surgical procedure Thursday to have a painful kidney stone removed.

From Whitesox.com

I assume K Dubs has the same surgeons that a player would. Yes?

He is said to have requested only local meds because he wanted to be awake in case his cell phone rang.

I hear that KW is so good with prospects that the Kidneystone is expected to be the starting first baseman in Kannapolis next summer.

At very least he is expected to be named the new Pittsburgh Pirates GM...

I hope the operation goes very well.

The surgery is no surprise. From the day he signed a Japanese infielder without ever seeing him play, I already knew he had stones.

If he only went a couple of days earlier he could of been my roomate instead of some old fat guy :crying

And all this time I thought they were located ... elsewhere.

Anyone have any news on how the surgurey went?

Good Luck to KW :gosox2:
