Bloody Mary's at 10am when they open. :cheers

What's a good time to get down there in line if you want to get in for the Opening Ceremonies??? Do they let everyone in at 4 to start wiating in auto lines even if you dont get into Opening Ceremonies?? :huh It looks like unless you get in for the Opening Ceremonies (which they are very specific about limited space) then the rest of the fest opens at 4:45, but its kinda vauge. Also what time does a line start forming on Saturday morning??

Lines start forming as soon as people get up out of bed on the weekends. it depends on how good the early signers are as to how early you want to get up. I would definately recommend 2-3 hours before the opening of the line if it is a primo player.

As for Friday the people who are in line for the Opening ceremonies become the first people who get through into the fest. Everyone else goes in after them. if you want Paul or Thomes auto on Friday get there as early as you can.

Ok thanks.... so if I get there early enough on Friday to get into the Opening Ceremonies, one would think that pretty much assures getting in Thome's line?

Ozzie's auto session is near the beginning of the day on Saturday, which is his only session. I'm pretty sure that line is gonna be like gangbusters on Saturday morning.

Its hard to say for sure, but the fact that Jim and Pauly are both signing at the sametime should make it safe, but I wouldn't bet on it. Get up their as early as you can to be safe.

Yeah I have been in line at 3:30 in years past and missed out on the opening ceremonies. This year is only going to be worse.

Agreed, thanks for the info. Friday just turned into a half-day at work. I would think the Opening Ceremonies are not something to miss this year.

Don't forget that the Q&A session is at the same time too. Thome is signing what 500?

I'd say if your one of the first 1000 - 1500 people in line you'll be ok. Maybe even farther back.

very true, what do u think they close the Opening Ceremonies off at 500?? 1000??

I'd expect the garage sale to be a hot spot when the fest first opens as well...

The opening ceremony crowd depends on how close folks want to stand next to each other. They fill the room up.

I've taken the day off, so for those of you who's tickets I have I will be there early and in line so call me when you get there on Friday.

A quick question for you guys who might know: I'm coming right from union station to the hyatt, is it walking distance or is a cab the way to go?
