March 9, 200620 yr Michigan should've have tried for 2's the last 2 possessions instead of launching and missing 3's.
March 9, 200620 yr Ahh now it's over, Minnesota pulls off the mild upset. Does Michigan get in? I would say odds lean towards no, but they do have a shot.
March 9, 200620 yr QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 03:43 PM) Ahh now it's over, Minnesota pulls off the mild upset. Does Michigan get in? I would say odds lean towards no, but they do have a shot. really a tough call. They've finished off the season about as awful as possible. I wouldn't be suprised if they're left out.
March 9, 200620 yr With the injuries and the way they ended the season, I would be surprised if Michigan gets in, and I don't think they deserve to. But at the same time, the Big 10 RPI is sooo damn good that it gives them a shot.
March 9, 200620 yr Michigan lost it when they didn't take advantage of Grier doing next to nothin in the first half. Nice win for the Gophers.
March 9, 200620 yr QUOTE(Brian @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 04:45 PM) GRPDFMSHUAHOI Wolverines. QUOTE(Brian @ Mar 6, 2006 -> 09:03 PM) Michigan will own all. If by "own all" you mean, lose in the first round, then yes, you are right
March 10, 200620 yr QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 02:46 PM) You could make the case that going into Sunday's game, if it's Ill-OSU, they could have a 1 seed and 2 seed reserved. Winner would take the 1 seed, loser the 2 seed. Not saying that's what's going to happen by any means, but it's a possibility. I dont think there is any way that Illinois is a one seed.
March 10, 200620 yr QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 06:03 PM) I dont think there is any way that Illinois is a one seed. Well if someone is going to argue that OSU should be a one seed if they win the tournament, if Illinois wins the tournament, you have to at least make a similar argument.
March 10, 200620 yr Looks like MSU/ILLINI tomorrow. If not for Goran Sutton, Purdue probably wins this game. Davis and Brown have done little.
March 10, 200620 yr QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 06:08 PM) Well if someone is going to argue that OSU should be a one seed if they win the tournament, if Illinois wins the tournament, you have to at least make a similar argument. I really dont think that the poster was saying that OSU is a one seed just if they win the tournament.
March 10, 200620 yr I was saying that winning the conference outright AND winning the tournament should qualify the Buckeyes as a #1 seed, because the Big 10 is the best conference out there.
March 10, 200620 yr QUOTE(The Bones @ Mar 6, 2006 -> 10:57 PM) My Predictions (I need some practice for the real thing): Thursday #8 Penn State over #9 Northwestern #10 Minnesota over #7 Michigan #6 Michigan State over #11 Purdue 3 for 3 on the day.
March 10, 200620 yr QUOTE(MarlinFan84 @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 09:44 PM) Minnesota is one step closer to world domination We will take over the world! Beware
March 10, 200620 yr Honestly though, I did pick the Gophers to make a run in the B10 tournament and then lose to tOSU in the finals.
March 10, 200620 yr Author I thought we'd want to see tOSU play NW to get a good game. Penn State's still holding their own early in the 2nd half; they've pushed their lead to 10, 35-25.
