Why is pods elevating every pitch.  I thought he was a fast guy who got on base and made things happen.

Maybe someone fell in love with his new found power during the post season.

And he looked so good 2 weeks ago...

Anybody know what happened to Dye?

JC with 96 pitches already.

he did this last year too, he doesnt hit the ball on the ground nearly as often as guys like figgins and pierre do....which is the reason his average isnt consistently as high as those guys also

Indeed. :(

Well the tribe are hitting line drives, we are popping things up.

I just got back from class, are our batters just swinging at bad pitches again, or is Cliff Lee actually pitching well?

Seems like Contreras has settled down.

We need to score some runs, jesus.

Nice turn there for the DP

Might be all for Count, and if it is, he pitched a pretty damn good ballgame after the 1st.

I agree. Very nice to see him maintain his 2nd half groove from last season. Even if the Sox can't win this game, it's an encouraging performance by Jose.

His stuff looks fine, unlike Freddy yesterday.  Just having some control issues.  He did very well to only give up 2 there, let's hope he settles down and gets a QS outta this.

Like I said :).
