Maybe Rowand back, too? (I kid, even though I'd like to see it.)

I'd take BA straightup over Rowand for the next 3 years.

Now, how sad is it when you can go 1/4 and RAISE your batting average? Haha.

He actually went 1-3. Pretty good night for BA.

I realized something in this game....Lew Ford would be the ultimate acquisition we could make to bolster what we already have.  I'm sure we won't be able to trade with the Twins, but he would look awesome as the 4th outfielder capable of playing LF/CF/RF.

You really think Lew Ford wouldn't start over Anderson... Pass the pipe please!

Awww, come on Ozzie. Let him get atleast 1! :(

Just lookin' after his health!

Yeah but I wanted to hear/see a standing ovation for Buehrle. He deserves it.

I hope you're kidding. Lew Ford is a AAA player; he wouldn't start over Gathright.

From the useless information department:

The only Sox starter without a hit tonight in Uribe.

Who would have thought we could say that on a night that Santana is starting.

Thanks for the laugh.

Sierra and Franco just won't retire. I like them both but Ruban has to be getting old too.

Throw strikes Neal!

Sierra batting, Mauer on 1st, 0 out

1-0 low inside

1-1 foul early

1-2 swinging

1-2 foul early

2-2 outside

So you are catching the Dog vs. Dawg debate right now. THIS IS BAD RADIO

This is why you leave Mark out there.. Cotts looks off again.

But, he made a pitch right there and got an out, good job!

It seemed like Sierra was at the plate for about 20 minutes.

This is a great way to start a series beating Santana. :gosoxretro: THOME is the man.

Sierra, I'd like to see retire but Franco, I hope he plays until he is 55.

Neal looks bigtime rusty.

Hunter batting, Mauer on first, 1 out

1-0

2-0 high outside

3-0 high

3-1 down the middle

walk

For everyone that's been worried about Politte, Cotts so far this season has made me concerned. He's already given up more homers than he did all of last season.
