May 9, 200619 yr He made it right at 7 minutes before I think he started to black out. They said they would be looking for air bubbles coming out of his mouth and that's what happened. When more than a couple came out, the divers jumped in, unshackled his feet and pulled his head above the water and helped him breathe.

May 9, 200619 yr What I don't understand is if he really wanted to break the record why the hell would he sit in the tank for 170 hours and have himself shackled so he would have to expend energy to unlock himself??? Well i guess he has the record for most time immersed in water...

May 9, 200619 yr I think Blaine is just setting everyone up for his second try, which will draw double the attention, and probably be pay-per-view or only on DVD.
