I'm confused. I thought it would take him the full 9 mins. to free himself.

WTF is happening?

Regardless, no record. Too bad

He didn't make it. Pulled out by divers.

He is such a failure

Well that was a waste of a week.

He made it right at 7 minutes before I think he started to black out. They said they would be looking for air bubbles coming out of his mouth and that's what happened. When more than a couple came out, the divers jumped in, unshackled his feet and pulled his head above the water and helped him breathe.

Has anyone ever drowned dead?

lol exactly

They should have had a motorcyclist do a backflip over him so it could make sportscenters top 10 plays.

I know he was only two mins. short of the record, but when you consider the record is 9 mins., he didn't really come close.

BOO YA

That was pretty intense. But I agree with GHC, backflips would have made it better. LOL.

Because ESPN and ABC are now one, so we all must suffer through the roster trades :(

It all started when Robin Roberts started doing both.

She is still with ESPN? I thought she went to GMA and hasnt been back to ESPN since?

Yeah...pussy

This is like geraldo and the chamber...

BOOOOOOOOYAAAA

amirite?

What I don't understand is if he really wanted to break the record why the hell would he sit in the tank for 170 hours and have himself shackled so he would have to expend energy to unlock himself???

Well i guess he has the record for most time immersed in water...

WRONG! what about aquaman

I think Blaine is just setting everyone up for his second try, which will draw double the attention, and probably be pay-per-view or only on DVD.
