I keep saying if this team does not acquire a bat at the trade deadline, they are done. The last 2 losses hurt to lose in the late innings like that.
June 8, 200619 yr It would be nice to see Detroit fall apart. They are scary. Thanks to Maggs for hitting into a DP (and Bobby for making that happen) and thanks to Cintron for his clutch homer. Obviously we could have lost 2 in a row instead of won both of em.
June 8, 200619 yr Like last night, Absolut, Dye, and Jenks come up HUGE!! Unlike last night, our starting pitcher and Thome are solid. Like last night, it's a huge 4-3 win over the Tigers. Tigers=0-5 against us. Let's make it 0-6 and a 0.5 game lead for the good guys in the Central tomorrow night.

Agreed, he was getting saves, but he was always giving up a run or two along the way. He's been rock solid as of late.
