Jim Thome is pretty good. Can he pitch?

He can sure play first base, maybe they'll leave him in.

Yep, I do. In my eyes, the Twins are head and shoulders above the Tigers and I would want to the see the Sox beat the best

LOL. To each his own, I guess. I'll s*** my pants if the Twins somehow get into the playoffs.

You know how Buehrle has about 3 or 4 games a year in which he gets rocked? This was one of those games. He had nothing from the first pitch.

But we are destined to hear bulls*** about pitch tipping for the next several days.

pods shudda scored there...

He's already had 4 games where he's gotten rocked this year so I hope that means he's automatic from here on out.

Milk, what's up with you lately? I've never see you this negative before.

Haha

Seriously, I'm only negative towards the aspects that deserve it. This offense is insane, and they're showing why right now.

Yeah, that's one thing I definitely get sick of when it comes to Mark.

I feel like novoa has shut us down on a couple occasions

I'd be happy to eat my words if I'm wrong though

I have to say I'm absolutely disgusted with Buehrle.

I don't give a f*** about wind conditions or merely a bad day with location. You score 6 runs off Zambrano, more often than not, you expect to win. Zambrano is pitching to one of the best offensive teams in the league whereas Buehrle's pitching to the worst. I don't expect 11 runs on the board.

I'm going to bring it up only once, but when people criticize me for putting Liriano and Santana in a league above Contreras and Buehrle these are prime examples. Neither pitcher would EVER give up 11 run....EVER. Regardless of conditions.

I think you will be surprised after today. If I do hear that out of anyone after the game(Mark,Oz,ect) I will be VERY disipointed.

especially after he sucked after the first inning

Man, if Mark could've just had a bad outing. Something like 6 runs allowed. I didn't expect us to knock Zambrano around like this.

with PK hitting here Oz should leave him in there at 1st, so he will get a chance to hit again, and hopefully with the game on the line

Quick guys, name me two starting pitchers with at least 10 starts that have not had two bad outings this year

Santana and Liriano? LOL. I get your point, though.

Fransisco Liriano

does konerko NOT understand the concept of beating the ball on the ground to the left side?

I'd agree with you here especially about Santana. Right now Liriano hasn't done it enough for me to put him as high as Santana. Who knows what's going to happen next year or the rest of this year even.

Way to go Paul!

Seriously, 11 runs? That's not just bad, that is pathetic.

PK drives in another.

AB of the game right here

We did this to Santana in 2004.

Jesus Christ, if only we had liriano and santana :D

If we come back to at least tie this, I honestly think the Cubs fans are going to comp-letely lose it. The garbage throwing on the field is going to pale in comparison

Liriano has 8 starts

take a look at Santana's April game log
