Again, will someone please explain to me the logic of having a bad bunter try to get a bunt down in a game you're down 2 with one runner on base?

Especially when the runner is on second, the hitter is left handed so he can naturally pull the ball to the right side. I definitely don't understand the logic.

Meanwhile, Konerko tries to go yard and pops out, I would say i'm suprised but I'm not.

I think our infield would have missed that pop up.

PK's been f***ing pathetic this series. Thankfully, we tried to play smallball this inning though.

Nice clutch hit there Paulie. Would it kill you not to try and pull the outside pitch.

Unbelievable how pathetic the clutch hitting has been in this series.

I hope JD is ready for the inside fastball

Does Konerko think he's in the homerun derby tomorrow?

Time for our MVP to bail our asses out again.

Think of it this way...if Brian can get hits in his next two atbats, he'll crack .200 :D

JD is going yard here

Nice call there.

Nice call there.

The ump hasnt called that pitch ALL game

Wasted another opportunity trying to play homerun derby when a single would have changed the game.

Looked like it was 3" off the plate.

Well, that's just about the 40th blown opportunity this series.

I think they're just taking off early for the all-star break. Kind of like a 3-day weekend for any of us.

We truly don't deserve to win this game today.

Well, one run right here doesn't hurt. I feel pretty good with the bottom of the lineup coming up. Better than the middle, anywho.

:sleep

This is embarrassing by our 3-4-5 guys in the clutch this series.

That is because its a ball.

Another f***ing pathetic display by Paulie and Dye there.

On the graphic Dye is 3 for his last 18 with men in scoring position since May 24th.

As poorly as they've played today, they're still only down 1 run.

who is taking the mound this inning?

Is anyone starting to think that last year's pitching may have been a fluke? That thought never crossed my mind until a few minutes ago. But, perhaps we just got a lot of fluke seasons out of a few key guys?

I think the only one that we could say that about is Garland. Buehrle is going to pitch better, but he has meltdowns and you can't expect him to shut down good hitting teams like the Red Sox. Contreras is good although he now seems prone to these wildness streaks. Garcia just isn't very good because his stuff dissappeared.

It would be nice to have one f***ing clutch hit this series.....one is all I'm asking for.
