HA! I think Flash, more than anyone else, can confirm my sources. I was also the person that knew about the Sox top 10 prospect list a week before anyone else. Are your sources still saying that Pods is a better leadoff hitter than Sizemore? :P

LOL. Right. Nice change of the subject.

When Guillen called Mariotti a f**, Fathom mentioned it nearly 12 hours before any news outlet ran the story.

Because Tracey is pitching for this club doesn't prove much. Williams probably believes Guillen overreacted. Ultimately, it's his decision which matters.

He called him that before the game, we heard about it in the post game stories after the game. DId we play a 12-hour game I didn't know about?

That's enough, isn't it? I'm sure fathom isn't making s--- up.

Great job by Garland so far. He's really using all four corners of the plate.

Why can't the swear filters be something like, "S---" instead of "spiff" and "f---" instead of fish?

I haven't been following the game until about an inning ago but damn...85 pitches through 7 innings...nice and efficient.

4 runs, 3 hits. Nice change from the Sox' 1 run every 5 hits production lately.

I'd like to see Anderson in Cf now

to the 8th, come on Sox only 2 more innings.

That was educational.

Boning is good, kids.

The stuff didn't break until the next morning, when there were columns about it in the paper that weren't included in the post game stories. The story was relayed to me by a baseball executive who was sitting next to a Tribune reporter who was covering Tracey's appearance in the minors.

I should have worded that differently.

It wasn't blown up to a huge proportion until 12 hours afterwards. Fathom told me within the particular game. And no, they weren't brought up post game.

Whether his source is a media member or not, they told him relatively quick. I don't recall ANYONE mentioning his comments during the game.

I'm not attempting to cheerlead for him here. It's not as if all sources of information I check with FAthom. I merely believe he has someone within baseball with more inside knowledge than us.

If people want to berate Fathom's sources, they can be suspended. We will protect members of this site with knowledge.

I just got to watch the game now.....apart from you guys bickering, it looks like Jon manned the fish up.

HE gone.

Jon better get a bigtime standing O.

Looks like Garland wasnt fazed one bit by Oz. good to see

Wow, Jon is just cruising right now, but we still have 3 more outs to go and anything can happen.

A little off topic here, but on the radio the other day, McCarthy said it would take 15-20 days for him to get his arm strength up to 100 pitches if needed.

Jon looks really sharp, good to see.

The way our starters have pitched lately, looks like we can leave him in the BP for now

Or 3-4 starts so if we moved him into the rotation thats 3-4 starts where we really run the risk of having to go to our pen by the 5th inning or sooner, imo. That not only makes us less likely to win that start, but also stresses and taxes the pen for any other start.

Reason's like this are why I think unless Kenny gets something else in return, that he isn't about to deal Freddy just to insert Brandon into the rotation.

Even if said knowledge is incorrect?

It doesnt matter. I was just teasin the fact that he thinks he has sources. It doens't even matter that much.

Another post on this subject and you will have 7 days off. Posters who have proven over time that they have legit sources will be heaviliy protected on this site. Any response to this will also result in a suspension Jphat.

I just heard on the radio listening to the Sox the name David Benoit. I have not heard that name in years.

Scotty has had some pretty darn good AB's today and came through both times with runners on 3rd and less than 2 outs.

And now he hits a HR

PODS!!!

Pods hits it out in Center, WOW
