I have to say, if we gave up Lumsden and Cortes for MacDougal, that will make me want to puke. Cortes is far from a throw in and is a very good pitching prospect in his own right.

MacD gets so much love from journalists, and I've just never understood why. I mentioned it somewhere else, but he seems to be the AJ Burnett of relievers. All the awe, not much of the production.

 

But you do get the injuries. I gotta give him that.

 

We'll see, though. If his talent is close to his billing, it'll be a fine trade.

I'm all for winning, but come on, I'd like to have some sort of future.

 

I don't think I'll ever understand why people here spiff a brick when a "good" prospect is traded. If I had a dollar for all the SURE prospects that came into town and did absolutely nothing, I wouldn't need a job.
