**8/26 Game Thread! SOX vs. twins

Featured Replies

The difference between 1 and 2 runs is really indescribably huge against en elite closer. Solo homer, unearned run, manufactured run...all doable when down by 1. Down 2? You actually have to put something together.

That catch should end any question as to weather or not BA would have saved us those two runs earlier tonight.

That's a homer if its Mack.

Mackowiak would have knocked that over?

It's funny, but outside of hitting homers, the Twins are so much better than us in every imaginable aspect.

Indeed. So new LF, SS, Mgr, what else?

So how long are we going to be on this "streak"??

what streak? we have played .500 ball over our last 20 games against the toughest competition we will face all year, and we are without our f***ing DH this series.

just out of curiosity, has anyone even cared to take a peek at Minnesota's september? It is absolutely brutal.

Tyner would be the 4th best player on the White Sox right now.

Remember when I asked earlier in the game if it was possible to have an error and a home run on the same play?

It's inexcusable for the Sox to keep playing with this mentality. These pitchers don't strike out a lot of guys, so they need to do a better job at holding the runners.

we all know they've been playing like this ALL year.

What are the chances Pods takes strike 3?

I imagine him running balls to the wall, arms flailing, then slapping the ball over the wall in his attempt to catch it. Is that so far off?

That excuse doesn't fly as Gload has been one of our best hitters tonight

It is? Not really...it's actually very easy. Half of their games are against KC, Balt, TB, and Cleveland.

The good news? Cintron has already been used, so Ozzie will have to have Iguchi in to face the righty for once.

what about last night?

Mack would not have made the warning track.

LOL so THAT'S why we're gonna make the playoffs huh? too bad we'll hide under the table and lose 3 games to the devil rays

If he's going to make an out, I can only wish it's on a called 3rd.

Will he take strike 3 or will he swing and miss is my question.

Sox fans, of all people, should know that @Tampa Bay is about a country mile more difficult than vs. Tampa Bay.

Can we officially start the funeral for this team? I'd like to start b****ing about the bears season and their lack of wide reciever depth...

You did it last night, do it again. C'mon Pods
