So the Bears are $2.85 to win at my local sportsbet place, $15 if they win b/w 13 and 18 points, $34 if they win b/w 19-24 and $67 if they win b/w 25 and 30.

Worth a punt at those odds (because right now I think the Bears are going to win (and it shames me)). :P

Albert Elias, Harris' agent, told the Sun-Times that he was unaware of the promise and that Lange's demands constitute "a very unreasonable request considering Chris has over 40 family members trying to get tickets and he's only offered 15."

The argument Harris shouldn't have to meet his spoken agreement because he only gets 15 tickets to the game is bogus since there are other ways for him to obtain tickets to the Super Bowl, ie buying a scalped ticket.

I think the guy asking for the ticket is being a jerk about it. Harris has a big game next week and this drillrod is bugging him with this crap? Get a life!

I didn't see the show, but willing to bet it was 100% sarcasm.

I saw it, it was clear enough, regardless of whether the convseration was dead serious, which it wasn't. But he said it very clearly, and he should man up and buy the guy a ticket.

Why? If your a diehard bears fan and want to go to a game that bad stop being a little asshole and buy the tickets yourself. Especially since both that guy and Harris looked drunk on that show. Players have no obligations to complete strangers/fans besides to play their absolute best on the field.. :stick

I bet everyone a million bucks the Bears win the Super Bowl!

You think I'm gonna pay if it doesn't happen?

Nooooo...I don't need you picking us :P

Anybody know what uni's the bears will be wearing this weekend? They're the "home" team, right?

I assume the teams are wearing what they wore at media day today:

Colts: White jersey/pants

Bears: Blue jersey/white pants

Those Colts jerseys will be bright green and brown by the 3rd quarter.

Yes.

Why are the Bears the home team? Better record?

that brings up a great discussion. Who was the best player in their sport? Roger Clemens or Brett Favre?

I happened to be flipping the channels last night and he was interviewed on Best Damn and apparently Harris offered him tickets to a game next year and an autographed jersey (which is pretty classy, imo) and the guy was like I am a season ticket holder to I don't need tickets.

If you ask me the guy is an asshole for trying to start this. I could see it if he was joking around with Harris but its another thing when you start going on TV saying how he deserves this tickets. He doesn't deserve s***.

typical bears fan :P

Clemens annoys me ten times more than Favre. What if Favre decided to see how the Packers were doing and play in November?
