That was a fantastic 2nd half with Tech and A&M. A good game with Tennessee upseteting Kentucky too.

VT giving UNC all they can handle again. UNC up 1 with 2 minutes to go.

 

Now it's tied at 73 with 35 seconds left, UNC with the ball for the possible last shot. Sheesh.

I'd hardly consider that an upset, it was at Tennessee, Tenn was actually favored by 2.5 and you get 3 points for being at home. So basically, it was a wash and it was not an upset.

SIU is officially on fire. 8 in a row, swept the season series against Wichita State, Creighton, and now Missouri State. This season is starting to feel pretty damn good for all Salukis.

I prefer IU's "Shut Up, Weber"; much more classy and it got into his head and we got two points out of it.

Be careful Heads, Longar might elbow you in the head or stomp on your face like he does against Texas Tech.

Creighton wins. We're still a game up with 2 remaining and we have the tie breaker, so barring a major collapse we got this now.

 

Now we get a break from the Valley schedule and take on Butler, Saturday, I can't wait to get to Indy.

Oh, and weren't there SIU fans on this board questioning whether Chris Lowery had lost his team only a month or two ago?

A deep run in the ACC tourney could help you....it is pretty wide open.

 

God this UNC looks like Roy's old Kansas team. They have horrible shooting guards, and play no D in close games.

UNI And because if they would have won, we would have clinched at least a share of the Valley title and the 1 seed in St. Louis.

 

As far as CLo, I don't think anyone said he lost the team(I know I didn't) but there has definitely been questions about his offensive coaching abilities, as we've had trouble running an offense against a zone. The guy is a tremendous recruiter and overall a great coach, I hope we can some how keep him around for a while.
