Well as those who have been around Soxtalk and the ESPN board since back in the day, it was a traditions for me to update my screenname each year with the new year. For 2006, I honored a promise I made a long time ago, which was to honor a World Series winner by not changing the year in the name. Well now 2007 is right around the corner, and I can't decide whether to continue the tribute perpetually, to update the name to 2k7, or to break the mold entirely, and come up with a whole brandnew screenname.

What say you, the residents of Soxtalk?

I say you keep the name as is.

21stCenturySouthSider

or...

SouthSideroftheThirdMilennium

That way, you only have to change your name once in an eon.

I always liked seeing it change with the year whether it was 2k2 at ESPN or 2k5 here. So I say change it to 2k7.

2K5 for life.

if you change your name, soxtalk is doomed.

2k7 .... Make them earn the honor again.

2k7 Im very superstitous. If you were only planning on keeping for a year then thats all it should be. Then, when they win it again next you can keep it for another year.

2k7

Southsider2K(how many posts you have at the end of 2006).

2k5.

It commemorates the 2005 World Series Champions.

How about Jabroni?

Ooh tempting... very tempting

"Spam"

:P

Don't change it until they win another WS.

I want my name changed too...

I think "P-A" will do.

How about "Mike"?

IMHO the Southsider has to remain, update the year. I was thinking JugKiller but that seemed to sophomoric. :D

Don't live in the past. 2k7. If Kenny Williams has moved on, so should you.

Mmmmmm.... 2K or not 2k, that is the question.

BigBrother

Southsider? You live in Indiana. :P
