This site's kind of cool. I just use it to listen to random stuff when I'm browsing the net.

I'd just like to once again, reiterate my previous point about Jason being no f***ing fun. :P

new Raccoo-oo-oon is their best yet. Go Iowa!

and yes, i would love to see sonic youth, unfortunately, I won't make it to p4k until the latter two days, hopefully enough to see Clipse.

Anyone heard the new Ted Leo?

yeah, pretty surf rock-ish. Better than his last but not as good as tyranny of distance.

I cant help but feel my dumbass posts led to the demise of the old thread.I was really on a roll there towards the end on reaching new levels of retardation.

I'm really digging Ola Podrida - Ola Podrida.

And if anyone cares, the new version of MediaMonkey is glorious.

The Roots tore down the roof at the Chicago theater on Saturday. Excellent show.

  • 2 weeks later...

went to neko case last night. She was splendid.

My buddy gave me permission to post this. It's his band, they do all Metal covers, and they do them better than any other Metal cover band out there, many times being dead-on accurate to the real bands. They are local Chicago, so if you see them in your area, go check them out. They are playing Duke O'Brians in Crystal Lake this weekend.

The show here is straight from the soundboard...no overdubs.

I'm definitely grabbing this when I get home.

That's a very nice setlist!

...but are you sure they're better than Fozzy?.....

:D

Fozzy Bear is better than Fozzy. :D

Okay, so I downloaded the Nemisis Theory files, and they were good in the sense that they made me want to hear the original songs, but I have to admit that I didn't save any of the songs to my iPod.

...so is that a good review or a bad one?....

:D
