more like a really boring early seventies bowie impression. the single was the best song on it, but even so, compared to time to pretend/electric feel/kids it's an album lots of bands could make.

Nice. I've gradually come to embrace Up Up and Away and Man on the Moon as my favorite songs on his last album.

I cant wait for this concert tonight. $20 and a whole group of my Spring Break friends are going. Should be a lot of fun.

I heard on XM that this album they were doing it for the "experience" rather than any hits...Apparently, they reached enough commercial success with the former to last into their third album. I agree with your assesment, I was bored.

yup, and Rabbit Fur Coat by Jenny Lewis is phenomenal too. I like "Under the Blacklight" a lot more than many of the fans, it's definitely a departure from their normal sound, but I really enjoy it.

Believe it or not, it actually sounds better than it use to! It use to be horrible about 15 years ago, Sugar and Nirvana sounded good there and it was a shock! They've actually taken some steps to make it somewhat better
